  1. These are great tips! I’m at the midpoint of my novel draft and yet finishing still feels so far off some days. Overwhelm is what gets me, but I’m pushing forward. Love the 5 minutes a day idea. I’m going to give it a shot!

  3. This was so helpful! I started writing a book in May but on May 29th I took a break from blogging. With the time and inspiration I had, I took my book from 1500 words to completion of the first draft! It’s less than 11,000 words but I’m happy with it and I can’t wait for the next stages of publication.

The best tip – to write for 5 minutes a day. I took that tip and doubled it. I set the timer for 10 minutes and just wrote! It’s amazing how many times I started the timer and thought I had no idea what I was going to write but then I would end up writing for an hour or more!

Thank you Susan for introducing us to Rocky and her awesome tips!
